A balanced semi-gloss finish that enhances color with a controlled, professional sheen.
PRO Semi-Gloss 1K enhances the natural color of concrete pavers while delivering a balanced semi-gloss finish. It combines waterborne application, joint stabilization and a protective finish for customers who want visible enhancement without the maximum shine of a high-gloss system.
It sits in the middle of the PRO sealer line at 37% solids by weight, above PRO Natural 1K for color enhancement, below PRO High-Gloss 1K for sheen. Proper surface preparation, suitable joint sand and an adequately applied flood coat allow the sealer to penetrate and stabilize the joints.
Benefits
Best applications
How to apply it.
Read the technical data sheet before you start. These are the working numbers the crew needs on site.
Prepare the surface
The surface must be clean, sound and free of contaminants or incompatible coatings. The PRO system is designed for application to properly prepared damp pavers when no standing water is present. Failing, peeling or incompatible coatings must be removed before resealing.
Mix and dilute
Mix approximately two minutes, then dilute 1 part clean water to 1 part sealer. Use the same 1:1 dilution for both the flood coat and the finish coats.
Apply, maintaining a wet edge
Apply uniform coats to properly prepared pavers, maintaining a wet edge and preventing puddles. Additional coats increase sheen and film build.
Do not exceed four finish coats after the flood coat, and always allow the preceding coat to become dry to the touch before recoating. Typical coverage is approximately 750 to 850 square feet per 5-gallon pail including the specified dilution; porosity and joint geometry affect actual coverage.
Return to service
After confirming a tack-free cure, typical return to foot traffic is approximately 4 hours and vehicle traffic is 48 hours. Weather and film thickness can extend these times.
Safety and maintenance.
Download and review the current TDS and SDS before use. The TDS contains application requirements; the SDS contains hazard, PPE, first-aid, storage and disposal information.
Any coating can change surface traction, especially when wet. Use PRO-Traction in the final coat where increased slip resistance is needed, particularly on pool decks, walkways and other wet-use areas. Always test the completed system.
Seal over an existing coating only after confirming compatibility and adhesion with a small test area. Failing, peeling or incompatible coatings must be removed before resealing.
Coverage varies
Porosity and joint geometry affect actual coverage. Absorptive pavers and wide joints take more material than the stated range.
Film build
Additional coats increase sheen and film build. Do not exceed four finish coats after the flood coat.
Storage
Shelf life is 12 months when properly stored.

Test it on the surface first.
Absorption changes with the paver, its age and whatever was sealed on it before, and that drives both the finish and how much material the job takes. Test a small area on the actual surface, confirm compatibility and adhesion, then price the work knowing what you will get.
